Will Danes brings his delightfully unhinged musical comedy to Social Refuge for a night of original songs, theatrical storytelling and cutting satire.
At this year’s Greater Manchester Fringe, Will received the "Best Newcomer" award and was runner-up for "Best Stand-Up".
He performs songs about performative politics, masculinity, relationships, billionaires, sex, and the struggle to appear remotely well-adjusted — all delivered with a classical guitar, fiendish rhyme, and the occasional profoundly uncomfortable overshare.
Part musical comedy, part theatrical storytelling and part public breakdown, Will’s show takes aim at the absurdities of modern life while asking the important questions: What does it mean to be an alpha male? What relationship style might work for him? And how exactly does one become a billionaire and hold onto one’s conscience?
